Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Fieldbased People Partner based on the South Coast, with Ashford as the practical hub, to be the trusted People partner to a Senior Director. You will support the delivery of the people agenda across a significant business area, working closely with senior leaders to provide strategic and operational people support aligned to business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Director and leadership team to develop and deliver people plans that support business performance and strategic priorities.
• Lead and support organisational design, operating model and change initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and colleague engagement.
• Drive performance, talent and succession activities, supporting leaders to build high-performing teams and future capability.
• Provide coaching, challenge and expert people advice to leaders on a range of people matters.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted and credible advisor.
• Analyse people data, trends and management information to provide insight, identify risks and support informed decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with People Services, Centres of Excellence and business leaders to deliver a seamless people experience.
• Provide support on core HR activities, ensuring alignment with policy, process and employment legislation.
• Champion continuous improvement, simplification and more effective ways of working across the People function and wider business.
• Support leadership teams in driving the organisation's culture, values and behaviours.
