Job summary

Nature’s Way Foods is seeking a People Business Partner in Chichester to work closely with site leadership, delivering the people agenda and supporting business goals. You will partner with managers on employee relations, workforce planning, and change initiatives, ensuring fair, compliant people practices across shifts.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience in manufacturing or FMCG/operational environment.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience coaching and influencing managers at different levels.
• Experience supporting organisational change and workforce planning.
• Ability to interpret people data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build credibility with managers and senior leaders, providing practical and commercially-focused HR advice.
• Partner with designated business areas to translate priorities into people plans and actions.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, ensuring cases are handled promptly and fairly.
• Coach and develop managers to improve capability and reduce reliance on the People team.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and compliance with UK employment law.
• Support organisational change, restructures, and changes to terms and conditions.
• Use people data to identify trends and propose actions with operational leaders.
• Collaborate with Recruitment and Learning & Development to address workforce needs.
• Support site retention and engagement initiatives and colleague experience improvements.
• Assist with family-friendly policies, flexible working, and workplace adjustments.
