Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society is seeking a Manager of People Operations to lead the operational engine of the People Division, ensuring high-quality service delivery, governance and learning operations. You will drive improvements and deliver meaningful outcomes for colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.

The role requires balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, influencing senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational or HR service teams.
• Strong governance, risk and control knowledge.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to influence senior stakeholders and lead high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead People Services teams to deliver a consistently excellent colleague experience.
• Oversee People Plan governance and dependencies across the portfolio.
• Own People Solutions risk controls and governance processes.
• Lead learning triage process and strategic supplier relationship management for the managed learning provider, including oversight of the learning budget.
• Drive operational excellence through process simplification, automation, digital enablement and service improvement initiatives.
