Job summary

Sodexo Live! is seeking a People Operations Administrator at St. James' Park in Newcastle. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and staffing for matchdays and events, ensuring a seamless candidate and employee experience.

You’ll partner with managers across Hospitality, Catering, Kitchens and Events to meet staffing needs, while handling onboarding, training and compliance for casual and contracted staff.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally within a high-volume environment.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Experience working within hospitality, catering, events or a customer-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
• A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating high-volume recruitment activities for casual and contracted roles, from advertising through to onboarding.
• Screening applications, arranging interviews and delivering an excellent candidate experience.
• Conducting Right to Work, visa and compliance checks, ensuring records are accurate.
• Supporting onboarding, inductions and mandatory training for new starters.
• Acting as a key contact for casual workforce, supporting engagement initiatives.
• Assisting with workforce planning and staffing coordination for matchdays and events.
• Managing labour systems, staffing records and payroll administration.
• Supporting recruitment events, assessment days and community outreach.
