Job summary

Sodexo Live! at St. James' Park in Newcastle is seeking a proactive People Operations Administrator.

You will support the full employee lifecycle for casual and contracted staff, coordinate recruitment, onboarding and engagement, and work with Hospitality, Catering, Kitchens and Events managers to meet staffing needs during busy matchdays and events. Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume recruitment is preferred.
• Strong admin and organisational skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, events or a customer-focused environment is valuable.
• High attention to detail and compliance mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
• Positive, proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume recruitment activities from advertising to onboarding.
• Screen applications, arrange interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Conduct Right to Work, visa and compliance checks; keep records up to date.
• Support onboarding, inductions and mandatory training for new starters.
• Be the main contact for casual workforce and respond to queries.
• Assist with workforce planning for matchdays, events and daily ops.
• Manage labour systems, staffing records and payroll administration for accuracy.
• Support recruitment events and community outreach to attract talent.
• Monitor attendance and training completion for compliance and improvement.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure staffing and training meet business needs.
