Job summary

Nexus People are recruiting a People Assistant to join our client’s busy logistics operation in Corby. Reporting to the People Manager, you will support the delivery of a proactive People service with a focus on onboarding, administration and employee relations.

You will handle data with strict confidentiality, communicate clearly across teams, and contribute to continuous process improvements while maintaining GDPR compliance. The role offers training and development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• PC literacy and data handling is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to stay organised and manage priorities.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding for teams and induction processes.
• Support management with investigations, disciplinary & absence cases.
• Maintain department reports and data accurately.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers daily.
• Assist in using Oracle and Kronos for people operations.
• Contribute to process improvements within the department.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and data confidentiality.
