Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a People Advisor to lead on-site HR activities and manage a HR Assistant, ensuring high-quality service to internal and external customers.

Reporting to the People Manager, you will coach line managers on absence, disciplinary and grievance matters while driving engagement, communication and recruitment solutions across the site. A hands-on role in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• CIPD or equivalent HR qualification is required or pursued.
• Experience advising, supporting and coaching managers in a fast-moving HR environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics HR scenarios.
• Proactive approach to continuous business improvements and process implementation.
• Strong customer service mindset and commercial awareness.
• Experience dealing with unions and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Support, coach and challenge line managers with absence, disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Identify development opportunities to improve soft skills and build future talent.
• Lead engaging, proactive communications across the site.
• Build positive relationships with unions and agency suppliers.
• Reinforce company values and monitor colleague morale.
• Support and drive colleague engagement on site.
• Cover the People Specialist role in absence.
• Lead HR projects from the HR plan.
