Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a visionary leader for a busy 144-bedroom hotel in Leeds. You will steer day-to-day operations, drive commercial performance and nurture a high-performing team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

The role reports to the Area General Manager and requires hands-on leadership, strong financial acumen and a culture of ownership across departments. DBS and personal licence duties apply.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience leading hotel teams
• Exceptional communication with guests, employees and stakeholders
• Solid budgeting, forecasting and cost-control skills
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Focus on guest satisfaction and revenue growth

• Experience in developing future leaders and succession planning

Responsibilities

• Managing budgets and controlling expenditure
• Recruiting, training and managing hotel employees
• Developing the team of HODs, preparing them for their next step, with succession planning
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and licensing laws, and maintaining property and amenities
• Continuously improving business operations through standard procedures, maximizing revenue and monitoring employee performance
• Identifying opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen the hotel’s local reputation and maximise department potential
