Job summary

Kew Green Hotels in the UK is seeking an Area General Manager to oversee a flexible group of three to four hotels across Yorkshire and the Midlands. You will coach Hotel Managers, drive performance and ensure brand standards while leading change and regional initiatives.

The role reports to the Regional General Manager and involves travel between sites, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven success as a multi-site General Manager or within a large, complex hotel operation.
• Experience driving performance improvements and leading change initiatives.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate data into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Coaching, developing and supporting Hotel Managers to strengthen leadership capability and deliver outstanding results.
• Improving commercial performance through revenue management, cost control and performance planning.
• Driving consistency across your portfolio, ensuring brand standards and operational excellence.
• Using performance data and guest feedback to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Leading hotel openings, transitions and improvement projects as required.
• Building strong relationships with central teams, owners and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
• Acting as deputy to the Regional General Manager and contributing to regional strategy.
