Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Collection and Network Driver at Leicester Delivery Office. This 9-month fixed-term contract covers 20 hours per week across five days, with shifts mainly in the early afternoon.

You will join a team delivering a trusted postal service, collecting mail, and refining route efficiency while working in all weather conditions. The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (up to 6 penalty points) and a committed, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Happy walking for long periods and going outside in any weather.
• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on route across scheduled hours.
• Check post-boxes, visit post offices and collect mail as required.
• Sort mailbags and ensure items reach processing centres on time.
• Safely deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
