Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Collection and Network Driver at the Dudley Delivery Office on a 9-month fixed-term contract. The role involves delivering and collecting mail, visiting business customers, and sorting mailbags to ensure on-time delivery.

The position is 20 hours per week across 5 days, with shifts 14:30–18:30. A full UK driving licence and strong customer service are essential; benefits include pension, uniform, and holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Willing to work outdoors in any weather and walk long distances.
• Good customer service and a friendly, independent, self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail on the route to customers and post offices.
• Sort mailbags and ensure correct distribution to processing centres.
• Visit business customers at prearranged times and provide excellent service to clients.
• Handle election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
