Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Kettering is seeking a Collection and Network Driver on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is 20 hours per week, working 14:50 to 18:50 over five days.

You will deliver and collect mail, check post-boxes, visit business customers, sort mailbags and ensure items reach the right place on time. Candidates should be upbeat, independent, and comfortable walking outdoors in all weather; a full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Able to walk long periods and work outdoors in all weather.
• Flexible shift patterns and independent working style.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on designated routes.
• Check post-boxes and collect mail on route.
• Visit business customers at prearranged times.
• Sort mailbags and ensure items reach the right place on time.
• Deliver election materials and other items per Royal Mail standards.
