Job summary

Goodstuff Communications is seeking a People Engagement Adviser to support the HR function across onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, and employee development. The role emphasises confidentiality, EQ, and process improvement, with scope to lead on projects and shape the Feelgood strategy.

The position may be filled on a part-time basis (likely 4 days) and reports to the People Engagement Business Partner.

Qualifications

• Previous HR advisory/coordinator experience is preferred, ideally in a media/advertising or creative environment.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of HR with a desire to learn and grow.
• Active listener with high EQ and self-awareness.
• Confident, clear and concise communicator both written and verbal.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong team player who can also work independently.
• Flexible and able to multi-task across competing priorities.
• Ability to think through problems and implement inventive solutions.
• Regularly goes above and beyond in day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding for new joiners, from paperwork to inductions and probation reviews.
• Handle offboarding, including exit interviews for senior staff.
• Assist with onboarding new HR systems with project plans and notes.
• Maintain HRIS/ATS and team status trackers.
• Coordinate entry-level recruitment processes and interview days.
• Contribute to training delivery and CPD tracking across the agency.
• Support hiring managers with interview prep and criteria setting.
• Develop and implement an annual employee wellbeing strategy and events.
• Identify and propose improvements to HR processes for efficiency.
• Manage payroll preliminaries and benefits administration where applicable.
• Prepare and monitor team budget and PO processes.
