Job summary

Cyfannol Women’s Aid in Pontypool, Torfaen, UK, is recruiting a People Partner to lead the delivery of People Services with trauma-informed, values-led HR leadership across the organisation.

The role covers employee relations, safeguarding, workforce data insights, policy development and change management, with 35 hours per week across Gwent offices and regular on-site work.

Qualifications

• Lead the operational delivery of People Services across all service areas.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex employee relations.
• Drive compliant, trauma-informed HR practice aligned to organisational values.
• Analyse workforce data to identify trends and inform risk reduction.
• Ensure safeguarding principles are embedded in workforce practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of People Services across all service areas, ensuring a high-quality, values-led HR service.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex employee relations, safeguarding-related concerns and high-risk cases.
• Drive consistency in people management practice across dispersed teams.
• Coach managers to resolve issues early and in line with policy and law.
• Maintain audit-ready HR systems, documentation and case management standards.
