SmartSourcing Ltd is seeking a People Culture Manager to lead day-to-day People Culture operations, primarily supporting our UK business while expanding involvement across European entities. The role is 3 days onsite (Mon-Wed) and requires a CIPD Level 5 qualification with strong UK employment law knowledge.

You will partner with managers, coach through ER matters, and drive HR data, policies and system improvements. A proactive, relationship-building leader will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Manager, HRBP or Senior HR Adviser in multi-site or international business.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law including redundancy and restructuring.
• Experience coaching managers and supporting employee relations matters.
• Experience supervising or developing HR team members and working with external HR advisers.
• Confidence with HR systems, data and reporting.
• Compliance focused and proactive in improving processes.

• Collaborate with the Group Head on group-wide priorities, risks and improvements.
• Lead and develop the People Culture Coordinator and manage outsourced HR providers.
• Oversee implementation of new HR system, improving data accuracy and reporting.
• Review and improve people policies, processes and ways of working for compliance and efficiency.
• Support UK benefits, pensions, and incentive schemes with external providers.
• Contribute to culture, engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and internal communications initiatives.
• Broaden involvement in European people matters with local employment advisers.

Were looking for an enthusiastic and driven People Culture Manager to join our team and play a key role in the next stage of growth. 3 days a week onsite (Mon-Wed)

Working closely with the Group Head of People Culture, youll take ownership of day-to-day People Culture operations, primarily supporting our UK business, while gradually developing your involvement across our European entities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Act as a trusted People Culture partner to managers, providing practical, commercially minded advice and support.
• Coach and guide managers through employee relations, performance, absence, conduct and development matters with outside HR providers in support.
• Work closely with the Group Head of People Culture on group-wide priorities, people risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and develop our People Culture Coordinator and manage our outsourced HR support providers.
• Oversee the implementation of our new HR system, improving data accuracy, reporting and consistency across the group.
• Review and improve people policies, processes and ways of working, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities to simplify and automate.
• Support the people side of business acquisitions and integration, helping bring teams, policies and processes together.
• Support UK benefits, pensions and incentive schemes, working with external providers.
• Bring ideas and energy to our culture, engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and internal communications initiatives.
• Gradually broaden your involvement in European people matters, working alongside local employment advisers.

What You'll Bring

• CIPD Level 5 qualification.
• Experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Adviser, ideally in a multi-site or international business.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, including redundancy and restructuring.
• Experience coaching managers and supporting employee relations matters.
• Experience supervising or developing HR team members and working with external HR advisers.
• Confidence working with HR systems, data and reporting.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Sound judgement, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Compliance focused.
• Experience supporting MA integration or exposure to European employment law (preferred)
