A bit about what you will be doing:

As People Coordinator, you will support our restaurants and people team by delivering consistent, efficient and people-focused HR administration and employee relations support.

You will play a central role in ensuring our teams have access to the right documentation, processes and advice at the right time, working closely with operations teams and the People Partner to handle everyday people matters with care, consistency and confidence.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone organised, approachable and detail-driven,

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent first-level HR advice to the teams across our London restaurants.
  • Support with day-to-day case management including note-taking, issuing outcome letters, and advising on low-risk people matters.
  • Escalate ER matters to our third-party HR advice provider and ensure accurate internal records are maintained.
  • Issue offer letters, contract changes, and other employee documentation in line with templates and policies.
  • Keep employee files and records up to date, ensuring Right to Work compliance and system accuracy.
  • Coordinate onboarding tasks including reference checks and system setup.
  • Monitor and report on people metrics such as ER cases, onboarding activity, and policy compliance.
  • Work with operations and the People Partner to implement people initiatives and contribute to the wider HR strategy.
  • Submit accurate payroll data and oversee weekly tronc allocations in collaboration with the Troncmaster.
  • Act as the local contact for the Payroll Manager, ensuring staff are paid correctly and queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain employee records across our platforms (Harri, Fourth, Moorepay) and update as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar HR or administrative role, ideally within hospitality.
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR processes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable advising on day-to-day people matters and escalating as needed.
  • Skilled in maintaining confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Proactive, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Confident with systems and digital tools (Fourth Hospitality, Harri etc).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Background in hospitality or a fast-paced multi-site environment.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating ER cases and HR admin.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Harri, Fourth, or Moorepay.
  • A calm, people-focused communicator with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Interested in growing within the HR field and contributing to a high-performing people team.
