A leading biomedical research institute is seeking a People Coordinator to join the HR team. This role provides a chance to enhance your HR skills while supporting staff through onboarding and HR queries, managing processes in Workday, and participating in initiatives for improvement.
About us
The Francis Crick Institute is Europe’s largest biomedical research institute under one roof. Our world-class scientists and staff collaborate on vital research to help prevent, diagnose, and treat illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, infectious diseases, and neurodegenerative conditions.
The Crick is a place for collaboration, innovation, and exploration across many disciplines. It is a space where the brightest minds pursue big ideas and discover answers to crucial scientific questions. We support them in a dynamic environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, cutting-edge facilities, and a creative culture. We have removed traditional boundaries of departments and disciplines, adopting an open approach that supports every researcher. This freedom allows us to take risks and conduct pioneering research, translating science into benefits for human health and the economy.
This is an exciting opportunity to join as a People Coordinator, reporting to a new People Hub Manager and a new Chief People Officer, both joining in February. It is ideal for an experienced HR Coordinator seeking career growth. You will work alongside a team of coordinators, delivering excellent customer service and administrative support across the institute, while further developing our Workday functions. You will be the first point of contact for new starters during onboarding, and support employees and managers with HR queries, including visas, payroll, and benefits. This role offers autonomy and project opportunities to enhance your skills and experience.
