People Business Partner - Change & Transformation
Full-time, Permanent
Predominantly remote role with some travel to our offices (Bristol/London/Manchester).
The Role
This role will lead a programmatic approach to people change and transformation projects within Bupa Dental Care (BDC), you will business partner senior leaders, guiding them through the change journey and leading project implementation. This role will ensure changes are future-fit and sustainable, driving consistency in approach through change methodology, governance and standard tools.
What will I be doing?
- HR partner, project manager and change leader, responsible for leading people change projects that align with business strategy and long-term goals.
- Work with senior leaders to ensure changes are future fit, cost effective and ensure continuous improvement in ways of working.
- Identify the drivers, goals, and benefits of change projects, as well as the potential risks, challenges, and impacts. Builds business case for change and takes stakeholders on the change journey.
- Take a collaborative and iterative approach and with key stakeholders, supports development of the case for change. Leads organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
- Manage the change project governance process, including planning,costs,risk/issue management and reporting.
- Lead the implementation of changes including development and tracking via a change plan.
- Ensure that changes are embedded within the organisation, evaluates the success of the changes and identify and implement any improvements or adjustments that may be needed.
- Develop and own people change toolkit.
What do I need?
- Leading Change: Successful record of leading organisational change as an HR partner, in a complex business environment.
- Project Management/Transformation: Experience in leading organisation design and / or operating model transformation projects – from planning to design through to implementation.
- Partnering: Significant experience in an HR function in a core HR partner role, including working alongside senior management and cross functional business partners to achieve results.
- Cross team Collaboration: Strong track record and experience of collaborating with / leveraging all aspects of HR e.g. recruitment, reward, engagement, talent, development etc to improve business performance on a sustainable basis.
- Leadership & Influencing: experience of a partnering and influencing senior leaders to achieve business objectives and improve performance.
- Generalist HR experience gained within a relevant market and/or industry – exposure to a Healthcare/Retail/Hospitality/Consumer led environment would be hugely beneficial.

- Strong in Execution: Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, able to prioritise and manage multiple priorities and lead ongoing projects.
- Customer Focus: strong customer orientation, with an outcome focus, and proven ability to collaborate across business areas and teams.
- Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with senior leaders, peers and colleagues
- Communicator: Strong communicator, able to think commercially and be led by data.
- Problem-Solver & Data Led: The ability to diagnose and address issues and challenges proactively and effectively, uses data and analytics to inform decisions and measure the impact of people initiatives.
- Curious: Growth mindset and challenges the status quo.
- Adaptable: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments, and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Coach & Mentor: Able to coach managers appropriately and act as sounding board for senior leaders.
