PIB Group is seeking a People Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of the People Strategic Plan and advise managers on complex HR issues. The role focuses on building relationships with senior managers and acting as the People representative in disciplinary and grievance matters.

You will support HR processes, including absence management, salary analysis, and succession planning, while collaborating with the People Director and Divisional Head of HR.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or above is required.
• Experience as a Senior People Advisor or People Business Partner.
• Excellent interpersonal and advisory skills in HR contexts.

PIB Group a growing insurance group, bringing together specialist businesses with expertise in insurance broking, underwriting and employee benefits are looking for a People Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The purpose of this role is to work closely with a specific customer base to support the People Director to drive the delivery of the People Strategic Plan to support the delivery of the business plans. Providing advice and guidance to managers on more complex HR issues.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and sustain effective relationships with senior managers and business contacts to support the People agenda.
• Act as the people representative when required at disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, capability meetings and other employee related issues.
• Provide support to internal customers through guidance on People issues.
• Act on the Management Information for the customer base, i.e., absence management, turnover, salary analysis, headcount etc... as required.
• Support the Divisional Head of HR in the delivery and completion of appraisal and salary review processes.
• Support the People Director into the maintenance of Succession Planning information, highlighting talent performance issues.
• Support the People Director in the integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Support the business with recruitment as required.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualification of CIPD Level 5 or above.
• Extensive experience as a Senior People Advisor or People Business Partner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in handling HR issues.
• Knowledge of employment legislation.
• Confident working closely with people managers.
