Job Overview

Do you want to be at the centre of the People function, supporting managers from across the business with varied and interesting queries?

People Assistant

22.5 hours per week

Based in Morley

In 2025, we will launch a new central People team providing a one-stop advice centre for all colleagues. This team will be the hub of customer service, support, and guidance on HR, Recruitment, and Learning & Development matters.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Work in partnership with colleagues, managers, and the wider People team to provide high-quality support across all employee lifecycle aspects.
  2. Participate fully in People team projects and activities.
  3. Support recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and maintain employee records.
  4. Provide HR advice, assist with employee relations, and handle employee data analysis.
  5. Manage training coordination and support Learning & Development activities.
  6. Support various HR processes such as leave management, DBS checks, and right-to-work procedures.
  7. Undertake ad-hoc projects and participate in working groups.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Outlook, Excel, with the ability to use advanced functions.
  • Background in People Administrative processes or transferable administrative experience.
