About the role

As People and Culture Advisor, you’ll deliver an efficient and effective HR advisory service, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures. You’ll support both strategic and operational people initiatives and play a key role in promoting our values and culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide professional advice to line managers on P&C policies including absence management, performance, and disciplinaries
  • Prepare and attend formal and informal HR meetings, including accurate minute-taking
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with employment legislation
  • Support the development and implementation of new people initiatives
  • Draft and manage HR documentation such as letters relating to ER processes
  • Update and maintain the HR system (CIPHR preferred)
  • Compile HR data and MI reports as required
  • Drive employee engagement and cultural initiatives to promote our employer brand
  • Support the P&C Director with TUPE and restructuring processes as needed

Experience required

  • Proven experience in a similar HR or People & Culture advisory role (telecoms or related industry is a bonus)
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR best practice, and policy application
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex ER cases through to resolution
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the business
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (CIPHR experience desirable)

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (including Maths, English, and IT/Science)
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards the qualification
