Job summary

Manor Hall Academy Trust in the central team is seeking a People Advisor to provide HR guidance to school leaders and managers on employee relations, recruitment, attendance, wellbeing and performance. The role supports policy implementation and continuous improvement across the trust.

The role offers hybrid working, term-time patterns with holidays, travel to schools as needed, and a focus on wellbeing and values. You will help shape people strategies and participate in key projects.

Qualifications

• CIPD level 5, or demonstrable employee relations casework experience.
• High-quality HR advice and guidance, often at pace.
• Implementing and advising on people-related policies.
• Understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Stakeholder management and the ability to influence.
• Advanced written communication, Microsoft Teams and in-person communication.
• Identifying and promoting best practice.
• Adaptability and high emotional intelligence.
• Resolving differences of opinion and conflict.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders and managers on employee relations casework.
• Provide HR guidance on recruitment, attendance, wellbeing and performance.
• Support the implementation of people-related policies.
• Identify and promote best practice and support continuous improvement.
• Contribute to projects that strengthen the people strategy.
• Visit schools for face-to-face support and engagement as needed.
