Job summary

Clifton College is seeking a proactive People Advisor to join the People Team and deliver an exceptional colleague experience across the Clifton College Group. You will advise on the full employee lifecycle, foster an inclusive culture, and work with senior stakeholders to ensure compliant people practices.

The role requires CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience, strong HR advisory capability, and solid knowledge of employment law.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience in HR advisory.
• Substantial generalist HR advice experience and guidance.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive problem solving and stakeholder management.
• Experience using HR systems and analysing people data.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Support managers on attendance, performance, conduct and grievance matters.
• Promote wellbeing and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.
• Assist with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate HR records and safeguarding compliance.
• Support policy development, audits and training delivery.
• Produce people data and insights to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sites.
