Tops Day Nurseries Ltd. is seeking a hands-on People Advisor to support managers across our nurseries with practical ER guidance and employment-law compliant solutions. You’ll manage a varied caseload, coach managers, conduct investigations where needed and contribute to wider People projects.

This office-based, hybrid role offers a Monday–Friday pattern with potential home-working on two days and a 9-day fortnight option, CIPD development support, flexible working, and a focus on wellbeing.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a People Advisor/HR Advisor role with hands-on Employee Relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, ACAS guidance and ER processes.
• Ability to manage a varied ER caseload with advisory queries and complex matters.
• Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Provide practical, confident People and ER advice to managers in line with employment law and policies.
• Manage a varied ER caseload from day-to-day advisory queries to complex matters.
• Coach managers through ER processes and support investigations, hearings and appeals when needed.
• Advise on employment legislation and ACAS guidance, translating complex information into practical guidance.
• Build strong relationships with managers and colleagues as a trusted People advisor.
• Identify trends from casework to improve People processes and manager capability.
• Contribute to wider People projects and manager development initiatives.
