Job summary

Premier in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a hands-on People Advisor with a strong Employee Relations focus to join our not-for-profit organisation. You will manage a varied ER caseload from start to finish, giving commercially-focused advice to managers and ensuring employment law and policy are applied consistently.

You will also coach managers, contribute to policy development, and use ER data to identify trends and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• ER experience in an HR/People Advisor role.
• Solid employment law knowledge.
• Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance processes end-to-end.
• Proactive approach with modern people practices.
• Experience interpreting policy for managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of ER cases (absence, disciplinary, grievances, conduct, performance).
• Support managers through hearings, investigations and outcomes.
• Prepare documentation for complex cases, including potential ET proceedings.
• Coach and upskill managers to improve capability.
• Contribute to policy development and continuous improvements.
• Analyze ER data to spot trends and drive people improvements.
• Support engagement with unions and consultation activities.
• Deliver training sessions for managers as required.
