Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a hands-on People Advisor in Stratford-upon-Avon to manage a broad HR remit with a strong Employee Relations focus. You will advise managers, apply employment law consistently, and handle cases from start to finish across a Not For Profit organisation.

You will support policy development, develop managers, and use data to drive improvements, with hybrid working and a focus on engagement with unions and staff networks.

Qualifications

• Strong Employee Relations experience within a HR Advisor or People Advisor role.
• Solid employment law knowledge and confidence managing cases independently.
• Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance processes from start to finish.
• A proactive and curious approach to modern people practices.
• Confidence interpreting policy and advising managers of varying capability levels.
• Experience identifying trends and using data to drive improvements.
• Previous exposure to trade unions would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Backgrounds from commercial, public sector or not-for-profit organisations will be considered.

As a People Advisor in Stratford-Upon-Avon, you will handle a broad range of Human Resources work and help keep people processes clear and well organised across the Not For Profit organisation. You will provide practical advice to colleagues and help managers deal with day-to-day people matters confidently.

I'm delighted to be supporting a well-established national not-for-profit organisation recruit for a permanent HR Advisor in Stratford Upon Avon.

Description

This is a hands-on People Advisor position with a strong Employee Relations focus. You'll manage a varied caseload from start to finish, providing commercially focused advice to managers while ensuring employment law and policy are applied consistently and fairly.
