Job summary

Linney is seeking a proactive People Administrator to join the People Services team in the UK. You will support the employee lifecycle from recruitment through to onboarding and HR administration, ensuring processes are compliant and employee-focused.

You will collaborate with managers and colleagues to maintain accurate records, run right-to-work checks, and assist with investigations and policy updates while delivering excellent support.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR Administration, HR Coordinator or generalist HR roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised and structured approach to work.
  • Attention to detail and strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and candidate experience from application to offer.
  • Coordinate preboarding, onboarding and induction for new starters.
  • Complete right to work checks and support compliance processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data in HR systems.
  • Prepare employment documents, letters, meeting notes and records.
  • Assist with meetings, investigations and hearings and record-keeping.
  • Contribute to policy development and process improvements.
  • Support wider People team projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure activities align with UK employment law and company policies.
  • Provide professional, responsive HR support to managers and employees.

We\'re looking for a proactive and organised People Administrator to join our People Services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering a great employee experience.

You\'ll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations administration, compliance and people projects. Working closely with managers and colleagues across the business, you\'ll help ensure our people processes are efficient, compliant and employee-focused.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment process, helping to deliver a positive candidate experience from application through to offer
  • Coordinate preboarding, onboarding and induction activities for new starters
  • Complete right to work checks and support compliance-related processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data within HR systems
  • Prepare people-related documentation, including letters, meeting notes and employment records
  • Support formal meetings, investigations and hearings, ensuring accurate administration and record keeping
  • Assist with the development and continuous improvement of people policies and processes
  • Contribute to wider People team projects and initiatives
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in line with UK employment legislation and company policies
  • Work closely with managers and employees, providing professional and responsive people support
About You

We\'re looking for an organised and approachable HR professional who takes pride in providing excellent support and building strong relationships.

You\'ll ideally have:

  • Suitable experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator or generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A highly organised and structured approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
