Job summary

WTW’s Pensions Data Solutions team seeks a senior Pensions Data Consulting Director to lead client engagements, shape data strategies and drive growth across UK Defined Benefit schemes. You will manage multi-project engagements, mentor colleagues and work with trustees, pension managers and external partners to deliver measurable value.

Based in a hybrid arrangement across London, Reigate, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or Edinburgh, this role combines deep pensions knowledge with

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Experience managing client-facing pensions consulting engagements.
• Strong commercial awareness including scoping, pricing and budgeting.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects and workstreams.
• Consultative approach with ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Experience building client relationships with focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of pensions data auditing, data cleansing, GMP projects and pension administration systems is beneficial.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser to Pension Managers, Trustee Boards and senior stakeholders.
• Manage complex data consulting engagements to maximise value of pension scheme data.
• Develop and execute client data strategies, including benefit rectifications, with measurable value.
• Drive business development to expand relationships and services.
• Manage multiple projects with focus on delivery, quality and profitability.
• Collaborate with administrators, actuaries, legal advisers, technology specialists and suppliers.
• Coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to growth of the Data Solutions practice.
• Promote innovation and best practices across pensions data consulting services.
