The role involves understanding the Transitional Protection consultations, policy documents, and regulations to ensure familiarity with the remedy activity. Responsibilities include reviewing specialist documents from the Department for Education (DfE) and HM Treasury, attending process and system walkthroughs, and coordinating meetings with Subject Matter Experts. Maintaining a knowledge bank, recording questions, and gathering answers for shared access is essential. The role also requires closing knowledge gaps, providing guidance, liaising with relevant departments, and supporting continuous improvement in operations.
Key tasks include analyzing data using Excel, identifying process gaps, drafting communications, supporting process reviews, and contributing to a knowledge centre. The role involves working closely with various teams, including the Teachers' Pensions Engagement Team, Policy Team, Data Analysts, and the Government Actuary’s Department, especially regarding legislative reviews and process updates.
