Job summary

Hymans Robertson is seeking an Administration Manager to join the Client Services team across Birmingham, Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will lead a portfolio of TPA clients, manage administration teams, build strong client relationships and ensure delivery of high-quality services.

The role combines people leadership, client management and operational oversight to support business objectives and client outcomes, with a focus on regulatory compliance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• GCSE/Scottish Highers Maths and English (or equivalent).
• A recognised professional qualification, or relevant pensions experience.
• Strong experience managing workflows, projects and service delivery in a TPA or similar environment.
• Good understanding of pensions legislation, administration best practice, service standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience collaborating with pensioner payroll teams and wider stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness with understanding of client needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of TPA clients and building strong relationships.
• Leading and developing administration teams to ensure performance and service excellence.
• Overseeing client service delivery to meet service levels and quality standards.
• Managing client projects and annual service plans, including regulatory changes.
• Escalating complex issues and driving resolutions and improvements.
• Overseeing profitability, fee reviews, billing and out-of-scope work.
