Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a commercially minded Manager to join our Actuarial & Risk Modelling team, supporting audit engagements and corporate clients across pensions, valuations and financial risk matters. You will lead the delivery of pensions actuarial engagements, manage client relationships and coach junior team members, with opportunities to advance into senior leadership as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with experience in pensions and risk modelling.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and delivering within set project timeframes.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and exceed client expectations.
• Interest in AI and data-driven advisory services and willingness to adapt to a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of pensions actuarial engagements.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Review technical work and coach junior team members.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership.
• Support the growth and development of the Actuarial & Risk Modelling practice.
• Engage in corporate and pension scheme audit support and related services.
