Job summary

Isio in Bristol invites penultimate-year students to a ten-week summer internship in our Pensions Actuarial and Consulting team. You’ll work with experienced colleagues on real client projects and learn how mathematics, data and clear communication support pension decisions.

The internship is for students due to graduate in 2028 and aims to build analytical, consulting and workplace skills while introducing you to an actuarial career. Prior pensions or actuarial experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Analytical and numerical thinking for evaluating pension data.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out calculations for pension scheme members and client organisations
• Help build and check financial models using statistical methods
• Review data carefully and explain findings
• Draft clear communications and supporting materials
• Research business and market developments
• Support client work and attend team or client meetings
