Job summary

Isio invites penultimate-year students to join our Pensions Actuarial and Consulting team for a ten-week summer internship in Leeds. You’ll work on real client projects and learn how mathematics, data and communication support pension decisions.

Designed for graduates graduating in 2028, the internship offers on-the-job learning, exposure to actuarial topics, and the potential to progress to our graduate programme after university, subject to business needs.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year student at university
• Graduation expected in 2028
• No prior pensions or actuarial work experience required

Responsibilities

• Carry out calculations for individual pension scheme members and client organisations
• Help build and check financial models using statistical methods
• Review data carefully and explain your findings
• Draft clear communications and supporting materials
• Research business and market developments
• Support client work and attend team or client meetings where appropriate
• Share knowledge and ideas to help improve our service, 5 days a week in the Isio office during the internship
