Job summary

Isio in Croydon offers a ten-week summer internship in Pensions Actuarial and Consulting. You will work on real client projects, develop analytical and communication skills, and learn how mathematics and data support pension decisions.

The role is for penultimate-year students graduating in 2028, with on-the-job learning and a path toward actuarial qualification. You will be in Croydon, 5 days a week, with support from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be in the penultimate year of a full-time university course.
• Available to start full-time employment in September 2028.

• Demonstrate mathematical and problem-solving potential during the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Carry out calculations for individual pension scheme members and client organisations.
• Help build and check financial models using statistical methods.
• Review data carefully and explain your findings.
• Draft clear communications and supporting materials.
• Research business and market developments.
• Support client work and attend team or client meetings where appropriate.
• Share knowledge and ideas that help improve our service.
