Job summary

Pension Protection Fund (PPF) in the United Kingdom is seeking a Pension Systems Engineer to join the Performance Improvement team. The role focuses on supporting the operation, development and enhancements of our pension administration systems and member services applications, ensuring they are efficient, compliant and customer-focused.

Based in Croydon with hybrid working, the role requires collaboration with operational teams, IT and external providers, and offers a clear path for process

Qualifications

• Experience in pension administration, customer services or contact centre environments.
• Able to interpret business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Experience configuring pension administration software or other business applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across audiences.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills with multi-priority handling.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, development and ongoing enhancement of pension administration systems and member services applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Assist with configuration, testing and implementation of changes.
• Support system releases, manage environment controls and maintain system stability.
• Engage with operational teams, IT colleagues and external software providers.
