XPS Group, a leading UK pensions and insurance consultancy, is hiring a Calculations Coder in Reading. This permanent, full-time role sits in Implementation Services and focuses on scheme-specific calculations using C#.

You will configure calculations for individual schemes on the Calculate platform and collaborate with analysts and administrators. You’ll tailor logic to scheme rules, build test cases, and use Jira to track progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Calculation Implementations.
• Strong technical skills within prescribed frameworks and timescales.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain calculations for individual schemes using predefined templates.
• Tailor calculation logic to scheme rules and benefit types.
• Set up and maintain test cases for scheme calculations.
• Investigate and resolve scheme-related issues or change requests.
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and contribute to sprint goals.
• Collaborate with analysts and admin teams to clarify scheme-specific requirements.
• Use Jira for managing workflow, tracking tasks, and reporting progress.
