Overview

We will fully support you in obtaining a fully-qualified Actuary status (although this isn't mandatory), providing guidance and tools towards obtaining a Scheme Actuary certificate and managing client portfolios. How you'll make an impact

As part of an established team of qualified and part-qualified actuaries, you will act as an actuarial and consulting assistant for a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing valuations and cost estimates
2. Undertaking and supervising accounting disclosures (FRS17, IAS19, USGAAP)
3. Coordinating data collection, editing, and testing received data
4. Handling all aspects of actuarial work related to pension schemes
5. Preparing letters, reports, and client materials
6. Checking calculations as needed
7. Participating in internal projects and handling special assignments
8. Assisting scheme consultants with pension scheme consultancy, including attending client/trustee meetings
9. Providing leadership, feedback, and training to actuarial analysts

About You

• A good numerical/mathematics-based degree
• Progress through actuarial exams, generally having completed CT exams and CA1
• Substantial experience in the pensions actuarial environment
