Job description

Job Profile

  • The role of Field Claims Adjuster is a home-based position involving travel to visit customers who have suffered losses and progressing those claims towards an amicable settlement.
  • Providing exceptional service is central to the role. The successful candidate will handle a mixture of claims through the clients' Direct and Broker channels for both High Net Worth (HNW) and Commercial customers, covering buildings and contents losses.
  • This role will predominantly cover the Northern Home Counties, but a flexible approach to travel is required due to the team's size.
  • The candidate is expected to have one administrative (desk-based) day per week.
  • The Field Claims team consists of around 6-8 members supporting the Property Claims function by visiting customers, inspecting damages, assessing policy coverage, and settling claims in lieu of external Loss Adjusters.
  • The primary goal of the team is to maximize the number of new claim instructions to expedite claim settlements.
  • Candidates must demonstrate previous loss adjusting experience, ideally with HNW losses.
  • Applicants should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and possess good communication skills.
  • Progression towards professional qualifications is advantageous but not essential.
