Job summary

The Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for Band 7 Occupational Therapist within the Neurodevelopmental Team. You will deliver holistic assessments and evidence-based care for children with neurodivergent needs, offering leadership within a dynamic MDT across Birmingham and in virtual settings.

Strong communication and supervisory skills are essential. You will join a supportive team, with opportunities for clinical supervision, CPD and service development,

Qualifications

• HCPC registration in good standing and current NHS standards.
• First degree in Occupational Therapy with relevant postgrad training.
• Experience in neurodevelopmental conditions and autism assessment.
• Evidence of CPD activities and clinical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist assessments and develop programmes of care.
• Lead and support junior staff and students within the MDT.
• Deliver assessments and therapy in groups and 1:1 sessions.
• Audit practice, manage clinical risk, and contribute to service planning.
