Job summary

Timeout Homes is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our therapeutic team on a contract or permanent basis. You will assess and support children and young people with complex needs, focusing on functional, sensory, and adaptive skills, with a postgraduate level in sensory integration.

The role involves multidisciplinary collaboration, producing EHCP-related reports, and delivering training to staff and families.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with experience working with children and young people.
• Experience in adaptive behaviour assessments (ABAS, Vineland) to inform support plans.
• Postgraduate training in sensory integration is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments focusing on sensory processing, functional skills, and adaptive behaviour.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with education, care, and therapy teams within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for EHCPs and reviews.
• Deliver training and guidance to staff and parents on sensory regulation and independence strategies.
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation in line with standards.
