Job summary

VerseOne Group in Basildon is seeking an experienced paediatric nurse to join our Children's Emergency Care team. You will work within a dynamic department providing high-quality patient care in a busy emergency setting.

You'll collaborate with band 7 nurses, the paediatricians, and the practice development team to develop skills, lead others, and deliver excellent local and specialist services while fostering a positive, flexible, and supportive work culture.

Job description

We are a supportive and encouraging department and you will be part of a solid team of paediatric nurses with different levels of experience.

This will provide you with the support to make each day a good one. We have a strong team of band 7 nurses working directly within the department as well as a dedicated practice development team which work wholly on enabling you to develop your skills and experiences and facilitate further learning and training.

We receive a wide variety of emergency patients, including trauma and medical/surgical admissions and it is exciting to say that our Children's Emergency Department provides an independent Paediatric Emergency Nurse Practitioner service

We have a co located PAU department that is managed by the emergency nurses and a team of Paediatricians.
