Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust's Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic radiographer to join the Radiology cross-sectional team. The role requires flexible working over 7 days, with day shifts and non-residential on-call, and attendance within target times to meet trauma KPI.

Qualifications

• Essential: HCPC registered
• Essential: BSc or DCR
• Essential: Continuous CPD
• Desirable: MR Relevant course
• Desirable: CT relevant course

Responsibilities

• Training provided in advanced MR and CT scanning.
• Form part of the cross sectional scanning team and follow directions from senior MR/CT radiographers.
• Support scanning workload for neurological, MSK and genetics examinations.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and participate in urgent care patient scanning.
• Contribute to staff development and MR musculoskeletal reporting where possible.
