Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Cross Sectional Imaging Radiographer to join our CT/MRI team. You will be expected to provide high-quality imaging and patient care across three sites, with rota flexibility to cover 7 days and a combination of MRI and CT workloads.

Qualifications

• Current CT and/or MRI imaging experience.
• Band 6 radiographer with postgraduate/lead capability.
• Willingness to work across 7 days and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT and MRI examinations to high professional standards.
• Ensure high-quality patient-focused service and safety.
• Rotate across MRI/CT departments to support service and development; lead where required.
• Adhere to radiation protection rules and DRLs; monitor patient doses.
• Promote infection control practices and participate in audits.
