Job summary

NCIC is recruiting a Clinical Support Worker for Ward 2 at West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven. The role involves caring for patients as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care on a 27-bed Acute Medical ward, with days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

The post requires a care certificate or willingness to undertake it, and adherence to NHS values. Flexible shifts, DBS checks, and relocation support may apply.

Qualifications

• Care certificate or willingness to undertake this.
• National Care Certificate or commitment to complete within 12 weeks.
• Numeracy and Literacy Level 2.
• Ability to undertake relevant additional training for Clinical Support Workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of patient care with a caring approach.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team on Ward 2.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation of care.
