Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and patients.
• Co-ordinating and leading shift and staff; mentoring junior colleagues and students.
• Providing patient- and family-centred care in line with best practice for children's hospital services.
• Providing clear feedback to team members to improve performance and service delivery.
• Embedding Clinical Governance with Matron, Deputy Director of Nursing and clinicians.
