Qualifications

• Proven experience operating pedestrian cranes on construction sites.
• Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for the equipment used.
• Ability to read and follow lifting plans and site instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate pedestrian cranes in line with procedures.
• Carry out lifting and moving operations safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-use checks and report defects.
• Follow lifting plans, site rules and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with slingers/signallers and site managers.
• Ensure loads are secured and lifted safely.
• Maintain records and daily equipment checks.
• Keep work area clean, organised and safe.
• Comply with UK legislation and industry standards.
