Job summary

Melrose Learning Trust is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (with PE) Apprentice to support pupils across Cleves Cross Primary and Nursery School and Easington C of E Primary School.

The role focuses on delivering PE support, running lunchtime and after-school clubs, and assisting with pupil development in a caring environment that values safeguarding and teamwork. Training and portfolio work will be undertaken as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary education setting is preferred.
• Commitment to promoting wellbeing and academic development.
• Ability to model professional behaviour for pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support PE throughout the school.
• Help deliver lunchtime and after-school clubs.
• Assist in preparing school teams for festivals and competitions.
• Support administration of PE and school sport.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers.
• Undertake training and portfolio work with Educational & Sporting Futures and Go Well.
