Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate PE Teacher in Northampton to join our partner schools from September 2026. You will teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 opportunities in some settings, delivering engaging lessons and promoting teamwork.

This full-time role offers permanent or long-term opportunities, a competitive MPS/UPS salary, and strong support through induction, mentoring for ECTs, and access to excellent sporting facilities.

Qualifications

The Role:

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• A specialist qualification or strong subject knowledge in Physical Education

• A confident and enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students both in the classroom and on the sports field

• Experience delivering a range of sporting activities and adapting lessons for different abilities

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to teaching

• Passionate about supporting students' physical, social, and personal development

• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will receive full support through induction and mentoring
