An excellent school in Aylesbury is seeking a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for physical education to make a significant impact in a vibrant school community.

Role Overview:

As a PE Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality physical education to students across various age groups. You will be responsible for planning and executing engaging lessons that inspire a lifelong love for physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that foster a love for physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles
  • Provide instruction in a variety of sports and physical activities, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth and development
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, sportsmanship, and personal achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school-wide events, sports fixtures, and extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for physical education and inspire students to embrace the benefits of an active lifestyle

Requirements:

  • While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement. We welcome applications from individuals with relevant experience and a strong passion for PE
  • Proven experience working with children or young adults in a sports coaching, mentoring, or educational setting
  • A genuine enthusiasm for promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development through PE
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
  • A commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered
