Harris Academy Beckenham is seeking a qualified teacher with subject leadership experience to join as Coordinator of PE on a fixed-term contract to August 2027. You will join an open and supportive team in establishing outstanding PE provision and leading programmes, systems and structures in line with the academy's vision and values.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, with a minimum of three years' teaching experience, ideally including

• QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree.
• Minimum of three years' teaching experience, ideally including KS5 in multi-ethnic urban schools.
• Understand National Curriculum requirements at KS3/KS4/KS5.
• Experience delivering high-quality INSET to teaching staff and using coaching for professional development.

Responsabilités

• Establish outstanding PE provision and lead teaching and learning across the PE curriculum.
• Develop and implement programmes, systems and structures aligned with the academy's vision and values.
• Lead, support and manage PE staff to improve performance and raise achievement.
• Monitor, evaluate and review performance data to inform improvements in teaching and learning.
• Utilise ICT and new technologies to raise PE standards and student outcomes.
• Contribute to innovative curriculum development and cross-curricular links (e.g., LLN across the curriculum).
